Rosalie Recordon is a Queer writer/ producer from the South of France who has been living in California since 2017. She is an independent filmmaker drawn to stories that disrupt strong-held assumptions. While living in Paris for 10 years, she worked in theater, film, television and also produced a her own web series J'Peux Pas J'ai.

Rosalie is an undeniably authentic artist that is always in the search of the truth. Since in the US, she is a proud member of Women In Film and been handpicked for the 2020-21 mentoring program with Film producer Jabree Weber. Since two years she has been developing an international LGBTQ women lead diverse original content pilot based on a true story for a series called PARIS-L.A. Working on themes like gender identity, gender parity and women empowerment, she is a big advocate for self expression; “We aren’t merely male or female. We’re trans; we’re gender-fluid; we’re nonbinary; we’re agender. People are no longer confining themselves to the classification of the bodies they were born with or society’s rules for what those bodies can and cannot do. “

Mentored by Showrunner Sam Ernst and advised by Story producer Tony Hickman she is ready to market her project. While her Untitled next feature is in pre-production she also volunteers at the Laughing Poney Rescue in Rancho Santa Fe saving and healing traumatized horses on their way to slaughter.
